The SHARP Literacy Annual Campaign is currently being chaired by two respected individuals in the Milwaukee philanthropic community, Chad Tessmer and Maria Lopez Vento. Chad Tessmer is Director of Client and Community Relations for PNC

Financial Services Group in Wisconsin, leading the bank's local sponsorship activities, philanthropic efforts, and community relations. He serves on the board of directors for First Stage Children's Theater, and is on the Next Generation Council for the United Performing Arts Fund. He attended the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and lives in Fox Point with his wife and two young sons.
Maria Lopez Vento is Program Officer at the Helen Bader Foundation, where she manages its Youth and Directed Grants program areas, which award a combined total of more than $1 million in grants annually. The Youth program supports experiential learning and summer activities that aim to engage and uplift low-income children and youth in Milwaukee. The Directed Grants program supports a variety of projects of interest to the Bader family, including such issues as homelessness, child welfare, and addiction.
