How can SHARP Literacy be useful for kids and their parents/guardians?

Inside every SHARP student workbook is a letter to parents/guardians. It offers a brief description of the programs and launches an activity that children can complete with their parents/guardians at home.

Due to a major grant given to SHARP Literacy, every child that participates in the program is given a We Love to Learn book to take home at the end of the school year. Parents/guardians can help children complete Writing Challenges, Educational Challenges and activities that can be found at the back of the book.

The Activity Center will further enrich the SHARP Literacy programs for you and your child(ren). Most importantly, these activities will help your child(ren) develop and enhance reading comprehension, creative writing and vocabulary skills.
